Pete Davidson Covers Up Tattoo Of Former Girlfriend After Engagement To Ariana Grande — Probably A Good Idea!
Now you’re thinking clearly, Pete Davidson!
The Saturday Night Live funny-man is no stranger to new ink — he got two new tattoos for Ariana Grande, like, four seconds after meeting her LOLz — but finally he opted to cover up a separate tattoo that REALLY needed to go after his engagement to the No More Tears Left To Cry singer became official!
It all started with some keen eyes taking a look at this video Davidson posted to his Instagram account almost a week ago (below):
thank you cudder for continuing to be the greatest artist of all time 🌹A post shared by Pete Davidson (@petedavidson) on Jun 8, 2018 at 11:35am PDT
Not a big deal, right? Just him dancing?
But check out those forearms — his right forearm has a TON of ink on it and it has to be new, considering previously he’d been only known to have one single tattoo there: a pic of former girlfriend Cazzie David‘s face around a few stars.
Now it just appears a solid black block that is definitely obscuring her face! Awkward… But probably smart though considering, ya know, it’s Ariana time now!!!

The My Youth singer’s latest track is a bop you can’t help but move to, and of course having Ari on board is no small part of its seksi success!
Ch-ch-check out Dance To This (above)!
The 24-year-old Saturday Night Live star has replaced the permanent pic of David’s face — which was inked on his right arm — with a larger version of a design that looks close to one the sports on his left side.
Davidson is no stranger to showing his affection by adding ink to his already tattoo-covered body. Following news of his relationship to Grande, 24, the SNL comedian was quick to be inspired for his next piece of body art.
Earlier this month, Davidson paid a visit to The Black Lantern where artist London Reese tattooed two small designs on him that were inspired by his newly minted fiancée — a black bunny ears mask, which mirrors the singer’s Dangerous Woman album artwork, and her initials on his thumb.
Reese shared a picture of his work on June 2, with the caption: “We had a good night.”
The whirlwind romance between Grande and Davidson goes beyond just a tattoo. Just weeks after Us Weekly broke the news that the pop star and comedian were dating, multiple sources exclusively confirmed to Us that the two were engaged.
“They are a perfect fit. They are not rushing to get married,” one insider told Us on Monday, June 10. “Their friends are really excited and supportive.”
Another source added that the lovebirds “were telling people that they’re engaged” at Robert Pattinson’s birthday party in L.A. on June 9.
“They are both constantly making each other laugh,” the first insider noted. “Their moms have met. They’ve been very public with their relationship on social media, and they are very in love.”
Where do you go after getting engaged? The Happiest Place on Earth, of course! Ariana Grande and Pete Davidson headed to the amusement park in Anaheim, California, hours after Us Weekly exclusively confirmed that they are set to tie the knot.
The “No Tears Left to Cry” singer, 24, shared some grainy video footage from their late-night outing via Instagram Story on Monday, June 11. “Another take,” she captioned a clip of her husband-to-be in a ride with her. “I really like this one.”
Grande and Davidson, 24, have decided to take the next step in their relationship after just a few weeks of dating. However, they plan on having a long engagement.
“They are a perfect it. They are not rushing to get married. Their friends are really excited and supportive,” one source told Us. “They are both constantly making each other laugh. Their moms have met. They’ve been very public with their relationship on social media and they are in very in love.”
A second insider adds that the couple told partygoers at Robert Pattinson’s birthday bash over the weekend that they are engaged.
Grande hosted and performed on SNL in March 2016. She recently split with Mac Miller after two years of dating. Davidson, meanwhile, was last linked to Larry David’s daughter Cazzie David.
Pete Davidson knows he’s lucky to have Ariana Grande in his arms!
“Ummmmmm hiiiiiiiiii. I’m the luckiest contest winner ever.”
Ari responded like a giddy teenager, writing:
“sksjsjsjjajsjaa nahhhh I am.”
OMG, too cute! No, really — tone it down, you two…[Image via Instagram.]
Ariana Grande did her thing performing at Wango Tango this weekend, including the debut of a brand new track off her album Sweetener.
The track — The Light Is Coming — was performed alongside Nicki Minaj in the video at the top of this post, and it brought the whole house down in the venue!! Ch-ch-check it out (above)!!!
But that wasn’t all from Grande or from Wango Tango, either!
You can ch-ch-check out her full performance — and BF Pete Davidson‘s reaction to it all — right here (below):
Did y’all enjoy that?!
Because it sure seemed like Pete did!!
Pete is doing the most!!
Thoughts on all this, Perezcious readers?!

She isn’t letting a breakup bring her down. Cazzie David returned to Instagram on Friday, June 1, just a little over a month after news of her split from ex-boyfriend Pete Davidson — and she brought her humor.
In the midst of Davidson’s headline-making new relationship with singer Ariana Grande, David poked fun pretending she was clueless.
“Been in Africa,” the 24-year-old Eighty-Sixed creator wrote alongside a picture of herself in a safari jeep. “What’d I miss ??”
And commenters couldn’t help but jump at the opportunity to express their love for her. “Omg living for this,” one follower wrote. Another added: “Hahaha expected nothing less from our queen.”
As previously reported, multiple sources confirmed to Us Weekly in May that David and the 24-year-old Saturday Night Live star had ended their relationship after two years of dating. Though one insider added that, “there’s a chance they get back together,” it appears Davidson has since moved on and is in a full-blown relationship with Grande, 24.
Us Weekly confirmed on May 21 that Davidson and the popstar were in an item. “Ariana and Pete are dating and it’s casual,” a source told Us at the time. “It just started.”
However, since the news broke, the two have seemingly been inseparable, even confirming their relationship in a Harry Potter-themed Instagram picture on May 30. “The chamber of secrets has been opened,” Davidson captioned a photo of the two wearing matching outfits from the famous book and movie series.
The following day, the two showed a bit of PDA in a photo posted to Grande’s Instagram account where the comedian can be seen with his arms wrapped around her and sweetly kissing her on the head.
“I thought u into my life,” the “No Tears Left to Cry” singer captioned the photo. “Woah! Look at my mind.”
Prior to her relationship with Davidson, Grande was linked to Mac Miller before the two split in May after two years of dating.
As you may know, the Saturday Night Live comedian has been very open about his struggle with borderline personality disorder. He also undergoes regular treatment to manage Crohn’s disease and has battled substance abuse.
Apparently he’s been receiving a lot of comments from fans who are speculating that his mental health impacts his new relationship.
“Normally I wouldn’t comment on something like this cause like fuck you. But I’ve been hearing a lot of ‘people with BDP can’t be in relationships’ talk. I just wanna let you know that’s not true. Just because someone has a mental illness does not mean they can’t be happy and in a relationship. It also doesn’t mean that person makes the relationship toxic.”

Good for him for taking a stand for all those facing similar struggles! Good luck, bb![Image via Instagram.]
Earlier this month, Ariana Grande and Mac Miller split after almost a year of dating.
About a week later, Mac Miller was arrested for a DUI hit-and-run. That’s no laughing matter.
When a fan took to Twitter to accuse Ariana of being somehow at fault for Mac’s troubles, Ariana shut that down in the best way.
Following Ariana Grande’s powerful BMA’s performance, she’s been a topic of conversation — even more than usual.
Someone on Twitter apparently needed to get some thoughts about Ariana off of their chest, and on Monday, tweeted:
“Mac Miller totalling his G wagon and getting a DUI after Ariana Grande dumped him for another dude …”
We should interject here that this is referring to Ariana’s reported “very new” relationship with Pete Davidson, to which we referred on the anniversary of the Manchester Arena Bombing.
“… After he poured his heart out on a ten song album to her called the divine feminine is just the most heartbreaking thing happening in Hollywood.”
Really? He couldn’t think of anything more heartbreaking than that happening in Hollywood?
Ariana clapped back, hard. As one Twitter user phrased it: “ARIANA! HAD! TIME!” Because she is not mincing words.
“How absurd that you minimize female self-respect and self-worth by saying someone should stay in a toxic relationship because he wrote an album about them.”
She also takes the time to correct a misconception, though of course no amount of art obligates someone to stay in a relationship.
“Which btw isn’t the case (just Cinderella is about me).”
She emphasizes that she was Mac’s girlfriend.
“I am not a babysitter or a mother and no woman should feel that they need to be.”
She was also not his nurse or his therapist.
She says that she’s careda bout his health and well being, starting long before they were dating.
“I have cared for him and tried to support his sobriety and prayed for his balance for years.”
She clarifies that their breakup doesn’t change her desire for him to be happy and healhty.
“(And always will, of course)”
She continues, however.
“But shaming and blaming women for a man’s inability to keep his s–t together is a very major problem.”
There is so much of that in the world.
“Let’s please stop doing that.”
Keep in mind that some have tried to blame one of the victims for last week’s Sante Fe High School shooting because she rebuffed the shooter’s sexual harassment.
“Of course I didn’t share about how hard or scary it was while it was happening but it was.”
Most people in relationships don’t tell you what it was really like while it’s happening. That absolutely applies to people who are dating people with substance abuse issues.
“I will continue to pray from the bottom of my heart that he figures it all out.”
She is such a sweetheart.
“And that any other woman in this position does as well.”
She ends her epic shutdown with a simple outline of a heart.
The person who posted the original tweet wrote up a lengthy response, saying:
“I’m really sorry this is something you took the time to read and that upset you enough to make such a thoughtful reply.”
“I know nothing about your relationship and the heartache you both feel.”
“I in no way think you are the cause of Mac’s shortcomings. We all have our demons to keep at bay, and I truly worry about his well being.”
“I am very sorry I hurt you and I’m sorry you feel my tweet stigmatizes women for ending a toxic relationship. That wasn’t my intention at all.”
It’s safe to say that most people who write about a celeb without actually using their Twitter handle or any tags don’t expect an interaction.
When there is a response, it’s usually in the form of a “like” or perhaps a heart emoji, because most people have positive things to say.
There is no way that this person was expecting Ariana to see their post. They weren’t trying to be cruel, they were just placing blame in the wrong place.
And we think that they learned their lesson.
Ariana is such a strong voice and such an inspiration. She’s the hero that this world needs.
Tuesday was the one year anniversary of the May 22 Manchester Arena bombing that left twenty-three people dead and hundreds wounded.
Ariana Grande had already performed a powerful trubute to the victims and her fellow survivors just two days earlier.
To mark the anniversary, she sent out a much more direct message.
Ariana tweeted from the heart, writing:
“Thinking of you all today and every day.”
Here she included a bee emoji, or beemoji. The bee is the symbol of Manchester.
“I love you with all of me.”
She is so good and so pure.
“And am sending you all of the light and warmth I have to offer on this challenging day”
There is no easy or perfect way to address a tragic terrorist bombing that left dozens of children injured or dead.
Some would just put up an image in memory of the fallen and of the shattered lives.
After all, there are situations for which words fail.
Others would pen a miniature essay, hoping that if they say enough, they can somehow live up to the gravity of the anniversary that they are mourning.
But Ariana kept her tweet short and simple. She said what she needed to say.
Besides, she had already said so much in a recent interview.
Last week, Ariana spoke to Time.
“There are so many people who have suffered such loss and pain. The processing part is going to take forever.”
Trauma can last a lifetime.
“Music is supposed to be the safest thing in the world.”
She is so sweet.
“I think that’s why it’s still so heavy on my heart every single day.”
Remember, she’s a fellow survivor of that terrible suicide bomber’s attack.
“I wish there was more that I could fix. You think with time it’ll become easier to talk about. Or you’ll make peace with it.”
We know that it might sound fake, but recovery from trauma is possible. But it takes time.
“But every day I wait for that peace to come and it’s still very painful.”
Earlier this month, Ariana and Mac Miller broke up.
That is not in any way comparable to the trauma of surviving a terrorist attack, but that has to be on her mind, too.
However … she may have a distraction from her last relationship. In the form of her new relationship.
According to People’s report, they have been able to confirm that Ariana is casually dating Pete Davidson.
Pete is part of the cast of Saturday Night Live. In fact, when he joined, he was the youngest person ever cast on SNL.
He is also frequently brought up in internet arguments about which person on SNL is the most attractive, though he, like everyone else, generally loses to Kate McKinnon.
According to the reports, Ariana and Pete’s relationship has “just started.”
And it is said that “it’s very casual.”
The two were even spotted togther at the Billboard Music Awards.
“After Ariana’s performance, they were backstage and he had his arm around her.”
“They seemed very lovey-dovey. He was hanging out with her and her friends with his arm around her. She seemed quite smitten.”
This sounds so cute. Ariana Grande deserves good things.
We hope that she’s finding comfort on this very grim anniversary.
One year ago, on Tuesday, May 22, 2017, a suicide bomber carried out an attack at an Ariana Grande concert in Manchester, England. The blast, that detonated after the show concluded, killed 22 people and injured more than 100.

Grande, 24, marked the anniversary with an emotional tweet that included a bee, the civic symbol of Manchester, on Tuesday, May 22.
“Thinking of you all today and every day,” wrote the pop singer. “I love you with all of me and am sending you all the light and warmth I have to offer on this challenging day.”
The former Nickelodeon star returned to Manchester on June 2, 2017, less than two weeks after the tragedy to help the city heal with a benefit concert. She was joined by Justin Bieber, Katy Perry, Miley Cyrus and many more.
An emotional Grande opened up to Time magazine earlier this month about the horrific attack. “There are so many people who have suffered much loss and pain,” she told the publication. “The processing part is going to take a forever.”
She continued: “Music is supposed to be the safest thing in the world. I think that’s why it’s still so heavy on my heart every single day.”
Grande revealed that a day doesn’t go by where she doesn’t think of the tragedy and those affected. “I wish there was more than I could fix. You think with time it’ll become easier to talk about,” she said. “Or you’ll make peace with it. But every day I wait for that peace to come, and it’s still very painful.”
The entertainer dropped “No Tears Left to Cry” in April. It was the first track she has released since the Manchester bombing. She opened the 2018 Billboard Music Awards in Las Vegas with an electrifying performance of the single.
“Ariana and Pete are dating and it’s casual,” a source told Us on Monday, May 21. “It just started.”
Bossip first reported that Grande, 24, was dating the comedian on Friday, May 18, and now a different source tells Us that the pair was spotted together at a restaurant a week prior to that. The insider said: “Ariana was hanging out with Pete and his mom at the SNL afterparty at Zuma on May 12.”
“Ariana is very happy,” the source added.
The singer recently announced that her two-year relationship with Mac Miller had ended. An insider also revealed to Us that they split in April. “Ariana and Mac officially broke up after Coachella weekend, but ultimately the relationship had been over long before,” the source told Us. “Ariana was holding Mac together for a long time and it wasn’t a good relationship for her.”
The “No Tears Left to Cry” singer, 24, didn’t announce the breakup until earlier this month via a post on her Instagram Story. “Hi! This is one of my best friends in the whole world and favorite people on the plant Malcolm McCormick,” the songstress wrote on May 10, alongside a photo of herself and the rapper, 26. “I respect and adore him endlessly and am grateful to have him in my life in any form, at all times regardless of how our relationship changes or what the universe holds for each of us!”
She continued: “Unconditional love is not selfish. It is wanting the best for that person even if at the moment, it’s not you.”
Meanwhile, Davidson, 24, split from his girlfriend Cazzie David after two years of dating, Us Weekly confirmed on Wednesday, May 16. A source told Us that “there’s a chance they’ll get back together.”
The SNL star discussed the breakup during his appearance on Peter Rosenberg’s Complex show Open Late on Wednesday. “We’re not together anymore,” Davidson revealed. “Very talented girl, she’ll be great and she’ll be fine. Yeah, I think she’ll be okay.”
When Rosenberg asked if he would be fine after the split, Davidson said: “Yeah, probably.”
Mac Miller was arrested on DUI and hit-and-run charges in the early hours of Thursday, May 17, according to online records from the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
TMZ reported that the “Dang!” rapper, 26, allegedly hit a utility pole with his 2016 Mercedes-Benz G-Wagon around 1 a.m. and knocked it down. He and two passengers reportedly fled the scene on foot. The responding officers ran the license plate number on Miller’s SUV and found his address.
According to the website, police said they went to Miller’s home, where he confessed to drunk driving and fleeing the scene. He was taken to a local jail, where he reportedly still remains. His bail was set at $ 15,000.
The news comes one week after Miller (real name Malcolm McCormick) and Ariana Grande called it quits on their nearly two-year relationship. The “No Tears Left to Cry” singer, 24, opened up about the amicable breakup in a message posted on her Instagram Story on Thursday, May 10.
“Hi! This is one of my best friends in the whole world and favorite people on the planet malcolm mccormick,” Grande captioned a photo of herself cuddling with the MC. “I respect and adore him endlessly and am grateful to have him in my life in any form, at all times regardless of how our relationship changes or what the universe holds for each of us! Unconditional love is not selfish. It is wanting the best for that person even if at the moment, it’s not you. I can’t wait to know and support you forever and i’m so proud of you!!”
