“Scrubs” creator Bill Lawrence and his wife, Christa Miller — one of the stars of the series — are living the good life in NYC … in a home fit for a Hollywood power couple. Lawrence — who also co-created “Cougar Town” and “Spin City” –…
Lala Kent is not done with Jennifer Lawrence.
Not by a very long shot.
Earlier this month, the Vanderpump Rules star was stunned to discover that the Academy Awards winner talked some major trash about her during an appearance on Watch What Happens Live.
An unabashed fan of this Bravo series, Lawrence was asked by host Andy Cohen how she felt about certain storylines on the show.
And she laid hard into Kent upon giving her response:
“Lala trying so hard to be nice and then she’s like crying to her mom and then she’s like a total bitch … I’m like, ‘Bitch you’s a cunt.’”
Whoa there, right?!?
That’s a pretty harsh shot fired and we sort of don’t blame Kent for taking exception to it.
Which is exactly what she did on Twitter.
“Did Jennifer Lawrence really call me a ‘c—’ on @bravowwhl? Annnnnd talk about my mama?” wrote the reality star in a since-deleted post that concluded:
“Bitch, you better pray I don’t see you in the streets.
“You’re one of the highest paid actresses on the planet…you claim you are pro-women and you call another woman a c—? You’re gross.”
Again, we sort of don’t blame Kent for having this kind of reaction.
The 27-year old, meanwhile, appeared on an episode of Heather McDonald’s Juicy Scoop podcast that was released yesterday and continued to lay into Lawrence.
“She’s gross,” Kent said to open her rant.
“Not only did she call me the c-word … she went on and on making fun of me and my relationship with my mom …
“I’m watching this like ‘Is this A-list celebrity, who has Oscars, for real?’
“And then when she dropped the c-word I was like ‘Ok, honey, let’s leave the trash to us reality TV personalities, don’t be trying to take my job.”
Kent then honed in on Lawrence’s resume, which most recently includes Mother! and Red Sparrow, two films that won’t exactly be up for any Oscars next year.
“She’s a gross human being and congratulations on two failed films in a row,” the Bravo star added.
“My man is in the movie business, it is now said that she is not as valuable and she has to have another actor or actress to like, get the numbers up.”
We’re pretty sure Kent made that last part up, but whatever.
Kent was on a roll.
“You’re an A-list celebrity who makes more money than God and you’re like saying you support women and you’re calling another women the c-word that you’ve never laid eyes on in person, never had a conversation with me,” she said on the podcast.
“I tried to not let it bug me, but it never feels good to be called that, on top of someone who is that big and grand and A-list and glamorous.
“That kind of hurt my feelings a little bit.”
In conclusion, Kent ran down a number of things about Lawrence with which she has a problem.
“Well, here’s the thing. Now anytime you bring her up, ‘m going to have nothing nice to say about her.
“I’m going to say that her hair sucks, her face is a little too pudgy, like she needs to stop the drinking, you know? I said it, you don’t have to worry.”
Actually, in the real unexpected conclusion, Kent jumped on Twitter to walk back these mean things she said about the woman who fears penises.
See, the podcast was taped on March 6.
But it did not air until March 20.
In between… Kent and Lawrence sat down and hashed out their feud?!?
We find this nearly impossible to believe, but consider what Lala Tweeted yesterday:
“My interview with Juicy Scoop was taped a couple of weeks ago when I still felt hurt and emotional,” she wrote.
“Excuses aside, I wanted to let it be known J.Law and I are all good now.”
So this means we can’t look forward to another round in this unexpected and awesome celebrity fight? Darn.
But perhaps we can look forward to a Lala Kent-Jennifer Lawrence buddy comedy instead.
What? A celebrity gossip site can dream, can’t it?
We didn’t realize things were THAT bad for Joey Lawrence!
According to The Blast, in July 2017, the Blossom alum and his wife Chandie Lawrence filed for Chapter 7 bankruptcy, as the couple were in the red $ 18,000 every month!
In their court documents, the former child star listed his assets as $ 43,907.32 and liabilities as $ 355,517.27, consisting of $ 88,000 in back taxes; $ 132,000 in credit card bills; $ 32,000 for an unpaid loan; nearly $ 100,000 in unpaid car payments; and $ 54,000 in unpaid rent.
The 41-year-old’s monthly expenses totaled $ 25,505.35, which include $ 13,500 a month in rent; $ 1,281 on water and sewer bills; $ 2,400 on food and housekeeping supplies; $ 1,000 on entertainment; and $ 2,348 for one car lease; and $ 498 for a second.
Apparently, the actor only had $ 60 dollars in cash and $ 8,000 in the bank, with his monthly income listed as $ 6,966, $ 2,500 of which were residuals. For the year of 2016, he says he made $ 58,000.
In 2015, Lawrence made $ 534,000, as his show Melissa & Joey ended that year.
Before filing, Joey and his wife were forced to sell purses and wallets on eBay for $ 463, clothing to vintage store Buffalo Exchange for $ 4,325.10, and furniture at a consignment shop for $ 1,836.70.
Three of his cars — a 2014 Bentley, a 2016 BMW i8, and a 2105 Ford Flex – were repossessed.
According to documents filed on January 5, Lawrence sold his loan-out company, Veritas Inc., for $ 56,000.

Jennifer Lawrence and Jodie Foster will announce the Best Lead Actress award at the 2018 Oscars instead of last year’s Best Actor winner, Casey Affleck, who turned down the opportunity amid sexual misconduct allegations.
It’s an Oscars tradition for the previous year’s Best Actor winner to present the Best Actress award but Affleck, who won the Academy Award in 2017 for his role in Manchester by the Sea, decided to withdraw in an attempt to avoid creating controversy after he was accused by two women of sexual harassment. Instead, Variety reports, Oscar winners Lawrence and Foster will do the honors.
As previously reported, Affleck is facing two lawsuits after his accusers alleged that he harassed them while working on 2010’s I’m Still Here. According to Time, one of the women claimed that Affleck crawled into bed with her while she was asleep, while the other asserted that he pressured her to stay in the hotel room and “violently grabbed [her] arm in an effort to intimidate her into staying” after she refused. The actor has denied the allegations and called the lawsuits “extortion.”
“I believe that any kind of mistreatment of anyone for any reason is unacceptable and abhorrent, and everyone deserves to be treated with respect in the workplace and anywhere else,” Affleck, 42, told the Boston Globe in February 2017. “There’s really nothing I can do about it. Other than live my life the way I know I live it and to speak to what my own values are and how I try to live by them all the time.”
The past few months have seen a torrent of sexual misconduct allegations in Hollywood. After disgraced Hollywood producer Harvey Weinstein was accused by many actresses including Rose McGowan and Angelina Jolie of assault, other women came forward to open up about their experiences being harassed. This led to the formation of the Time’s Up movement, which aims to provide support to those who have experienced sexual harassment, assault or abuse in the workplace. Many celebrities took their message of solidarity to the red carpet at the Golden Globes in January, where they wore black.
Hosted by Jimmy Kimmel, the 2018 Oscars air on ABC on Sunday, March 4, at 8 p.m. ET.
“Bradley Cooper,” replied the Red Sparrow actress with a smile.
The Oscar-winner answered the question while playing a (boozy!) game titled “Jennifer Law” on the Friday, March 2, episode of The Ellen DeGeneres Show.
Lawrence, 27, famously smooched Hemsworth, 28, in the The Hunger Games trilogy and Cooper, 43, both in Silver Linings Playbook and Serena. (Lawrence and Cooper have also appeared together in American Hustle and Joy.)
While Lawrence and Cooper’s relationship was purely platonic offscreen, she admitted to locking lips with Hemsworth when cameras weren’t rolling. During a 2015 appearance on Watch What Happens Live, Lawrence was quizzed about whether she and the Aussie had ever engaged in real-life PDA.
“Liam and I grew up together,” she responded, shifting around uncomfortably in her seat. “Liam’s real hot . . . What would you have done?”
Laughing, she then acknowledged that they had, in fact, kissed off set. “I did … at one point.”
Later on WWHL, she praised Cooper as a “fantastic kisser.”
Meanwhile, Hemsworth most likely won’t be too offended by Lawrence’s admission on Ellen. The Independence Day: Resurgence actor is currently engaged to Miley Cyrus. As previously reported, the couple is no rush to walk down the aisle. “They consider themselves married,” an insider told Us in December. “Still have zero plans of having an actual wedding.”
Oh, how the mighty have fallen.
We’re referring, of course, not to the literal Jennifer Lawrence falls that were once such a common occurrence on red carpets, but rather to the slow decline of what previously seemed to be one of the sturdiest careers in Hollywood.
Although come to think of it, based on her recent descriptions of her own booze intake, we wouldn’t be surprised to see Jen take an actual tumble again soon.
Usually, around this time of year, J-Law is wrapping up a promising Oscar campaign.
These days, however, she’s promoting the poorly-received spy snoozer Red Sparrow, and thus far, the press tour has been about as abysmal as the film’s reviews.
Lawrence sat down for an interview with Howard Stern this week, and in a true sign of how much things have changed since the early days of the shock jock’s career, it was Jen who created a minor scandal with her comments.
While she’s not nominated this year, Lawrence will be in attendance at the Oscars, and Stern asked if she’ll be chatting with E! News before the ceremony, despite recent sexual harassment allegations against Ryan Seacrest.
“I don’t know about the Ryan Seacrest thing,” Lawrence replied.
“I think it is scary, you know. He has not been to trial for anything. I am not a judge. I am not a jury, you know,” she said. “I don’t know… that is where this stuff gets tricky.”
As many have pointed out Harvey Weinstein also hasn’t “been to trial for anything” but Lawrence gleefully called him a “boil on the ass of Hollywood” several times in the past week.
While she’s certainly not wrong in that assessment of Weinstein, the fact that she seems more willing to believe her fellow famous actresses than the mid-level E! employees who accused Seacrest has prompted many to accuse Jen of hypocrisy.
This is far from the first time that Lawrence has made comments that don’t quite align with the feminist agenda she usually espouses.
Of course, in today’s climate, it’s more important than ever that stars remain consistent in their messaging.
For the most part, Jen has done just that quite admirably, which makes her occasional slip-ups all the more glaring.
Now a new theory has emerged about why Jen hasn’t been as poised as usual during her current promotional tour.
Jen has sat down with Andy Cohen twice this week and during their second interview, she revealed that she got drunk on the set of Watch What Happens Live before proceeding to the New York premiere of Red Sparrow.
“I did get drunk at your thing,” Lawrence admitted on Cohen’s SiriusXM show.
“Can we look at the premiere photos please? I look like I had had electroshock therapy.”
“In my head I’m like, ‘I’m a goth dream,’ and then I looked at the photos and I’m like, ‘I’m a goth dream on crack.’”
“My eyes were like ‘I’m not drunk!’” she added.
Booziness has always been a part of Jen’s public persona, and it’s likely that she was at least partially joking.
Still, if Jen isn’t more careful when discussing sensitive topics in public, she’ll soon have fans imploring her to do her drinking at home.
‘Jennifer Lawrence Acts Like A Female Impersonator’: See The Best & Worst Critics Have To Say In Our Red Sparrow Review Roundup!
Will Jennifer Lawrence suffer yet another flop at the box office this weekend??
Look, we all know Red Sparrow is no match for Black Panther, but it isn’t exactly in the same budget range either. It’s the type of grownup thriller that gets the audience looking for more provocative, pensive fare.
At least, it’s supposed to be.
Based on which reviews you read, this is either a sexy, slow burn spy thriller or an absolute borefest! Is it Tinker Tailer Soldier Feminist? Or Subatomic Blonde?
Find out for yourself by checking out the good, the bad, and the ugly in our review roundup (below)!
Owen Gleiberman, Variety: “…elegantly tense and absorbing… Lawrence, with regal cheekbones and voluptuous bangs, has a great Slavic look, and eases into the soul of playing a Russian.”
Mick LaSalle, San Francisco Chronicle: “…yes, it’s a movie about spying, but it’s just as much a movie about Jennifer Lawrence going around jennifer-lawrencing it up all over the place. The story construction is laudable, the supporting roles and even the bit roles are superbly cast and played. But in the moment, the movie is just as much about Lawrence looking out the window, or beating up people with a golf club, or projecting blank-faced composure and extreme agitation, a combination she can do better than anybody.”
Stephen Whitty, New York Daily News: “People who crave a movie about a secret agent with her own sexual agency – and a mission to give male predators exactly what they deserve – are going to want front-row seats. And a sequel.”
Katie Walsh, Tribune News Service: “The film is beautiful to look at, but it’s empty and meaningless. The sensational images add up to a whole lot of provocation, but there isn’t a shred of substance to be found.”
Wenlei Ma, news.com.au: “The greatest disappointment about Red Sparrow is that it could’ve been so much more than it was, so thank god it looked beautiful because it is badly written and confusing.”
Larushka Ivan-Zadeh, Metro: “within 15 minutes I was already bored by the plot – a problem when over two hours still stretched ahead.”
Michael Phillips, Chicago Tribune: “Half of the “Red Sparrow” audience will spend at least part of the running time fighting off memories of “Salt” and “Atomic Blonde” and the Black Widow storyline from “The Avengers.” The other half, meantime, will wonder when spy movies became quite so punishing.”
Nigel Andrews, Financial Times: “Jennifer Lawrence acts like a female impersonator riffing through routines.”
Sara Stewart, New York Post: “…atrocious spy thriller, in which Jennifer Lawrence plays a prima ballerina who goes to whore school. I’m not kidding. The film’s unquestionable high point is Lawrence’s character bellowing the accusing line in her Boris-and-Natasha accent: “You sent me to whore school!””
Mara Reinstein, Us Weekly: “It’s not smart enough to be completely captivating or trashy enough to be considered an escapist absurdity. And no, the Oscar winner can’t quite pull off the Black Swan-meets-La Femme Nikita role.”
Alonso Duralde, TheWrap: “Neither intelligent enough to be involving nor fun enough to be trashy, this is a movie that would only work if it were a little worse or a lot better.”
Jennifer Lawrence ‘Wanted To Kill’ Harvey Weinstein Upon Learning About His Sexual Misconduct Scandal
Jennifer Lawrence is continuing to distance herself from Harvey Weinstein.
After the disgraced Hollywood heavyweight tried to use the Hunger Games alum’s name to clear his own moniker, J.Law has been fighting back in the press and making it ABUNDANTLY clear that she isn’t a Weinstein apologist. Oh snap!
During her recent sit down with 60 Minutes, the Red Sparrow actress revealed that Harvey was “never inappropriate” with her, but she still sides with the numerous victims that have spoken out against the controversial filmmaker. In fact, Lawrence believes that the decades worth of sexual misconduct allegations against Weinstein are “criminal and deplorable.”
Thus, her initial reaction to the explosive controversy was an angry one. The blonde stunner noted:
“When it came out and I heard about it, I wanted to kill him. The way he destroyed so many women’s lives. I want to see him in jail.”
Same, girl. Same.
Although, it seems that the 27-year-old will never have to be associated with Weinstein again, as he’s since apologized for listing her name in a legal filing. Last week, the industry vet advised his legal counsel to “not include specific names of former associates” in his defense in a class action lawsuit.
With no friends and no power, it’ll be inneresting to see what happens to Weinstein next…[Image via Media Punch.]
“Mr. Weinstein has been informed that his civil counsel responded in court to a class action lawsuit which improperly sought to include all actresses who had previously worked with Mr. Weinstein, even where those actresses have made no claim of wrongdoing,” a spokesperson for Weinstein said in a statement to Us Weekly on Thursday, February 22. “Even though Mr. Weinstein has worked with hundreds of actresses and actors who had only professional and mutually respectful experiences with him, Mr. Weinstein has directed in the future that no specific names be used by his counsel, even where those actors have made previous public statements about him.”
“Mr. Weinstein acknowledges the valuable input both Meryl Streep and Jennifer Lawrence have contributed to this conversation and apologizes,” the statement continued. “Once again, moving forward, Mr. Weinstein has advised his counsel to not include specific names of former associates; and to avoid whenever possible, even if they are in the public record.”
As previously reported, Lawrence spoke out against the disgraced movie producer on Thursday after he attempted to use her name in court on Wednesday, February 21, as evidence of his professional relationships with women. Weinstein was looking to have the suit, which was filed against him and The Weinstein Company on behalf of all women who worked with him, dropped.
“Harvey Weinstein and his company are continuing to do what they have always done which is to take things out of context and use them for their own benefit,” Lawrence said in a statement to Us. “This is what predators do, and it must stop. For the record, while I was not victimized personally by Harvey Weinstein, I stand behind the women who have survived his terrible abuse and I applaud them in using all means necessary to bring him to justice whether through criminal or civil actions. Time’s up.”
Streep also released a statement about Weinstein’s claims and stood by his alleged sexual misconduct victims. “Harvey Weinstein’s attorneys use of my (true) statement — that he was not sexually transgressive or physically abusive in our business relationship — as evidence that he was not abusive with many OTHER women is pathetic and exploitive,” she told Deadline on Wednesday. “The criminal actions he is accused of conducting on the bodies of these women are his responsibility, and if there is any justice left in the system he will pay for them — regardless of how many good movies, made by many good people, Harvey was lucky enough to have acquired or financed.”
After the New York Times published a story detailing more than three decades of sexual misconduct allegations against Weinstein in October 2017, more than 60 women have come forward with their own stories about him. Weinstein continues to deny all allegations made against him.
Harvey Weinstein wants one of the class action lawsuits against him dismissed, and says Gwyneth Paltrow and Jennifer Lawrence prove the case has some major holes. Weinstein filed docs responding to the suit … which claims he — along with the…
In an interview with The New York Times on Friday, February 16, about her new film, the actress talked about serious topics with the film’s director, Francis Lawrence, and former CIA chief of disguise Jonna Hiestand Mendez, but the pop culture-obsessed Oscar winner couldn’t help but throw in a question that has had a lot of fans wondering.
“I’d like to know what’s going on with Karlie Kloss and Taylor Swift, that’s the honest to God truth,” the 27-year-old said. “Is nobody else curious? It’s keeping me up at night. What happened?”
The former Hunger Games star was referencing what appears to be the end of the friendship between the “Call It What You Want” singer and the model, who met at the 2014 Victoria’s Secret fashion show and went on to attend the Met Gala together.
The pair shared photos documenting their friendship on social media, baked cookies together, and Kloss joined Swift on stage during her 1989 tour. The Grammy winner, who shared a Vogue cover with the supermodel in 2015, even had a room reserved for Kloss at her NYC apartment that featured the statuesque beauty’s favorite Whole Foods treats as well as photos of her on the walls.
Fans have speculated that the pair had a falling out after Swift wore a T-shirt in her “Look What You Made Me Do” video that had the names of her friends written on it. While Selena Gomez, Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds, Lena Dunham and more were represented, Kloss’ name was absent.
In January, Kloss, 25, posted her Love magazine advent video that showed her dribbling a basketball along with the caption “Swish swish,” which happens to be the title of Katy Perry‘s diss track that’s reportedly about Swift.
Kloss was also spotted grabbing sushi with Perry in L.A. on February 7, prompting Swifties to flood her Instagram with rat and snake emojis.
“It was beautiful,” Lawrence, 27, told Entertainment Tonight on Thursday, February 15. “It was very sudden, but it was, I was sobbing the whole — his vows were stunning. It’s when two people really love each other and they really mean it, it shows, and it was a beautiful ceremony and an amazing time. I couldn’t be happier for them.”
Us Weekly exclusively confirmed on Thursday that Schumer married Fischer in Malibu on Tuesday, February 13, after only a few months of dating. The comedienne took to Instagram to share photos from the big day, including shots with Lawrence and other celebrity guests like Jake Gyllenhaal, Chelsea Handler and Jennifer Aniston.
“Notice my shirt was accidentally undone the whole time,” Lawrence told ET about the pictures. “In every wedding photo all of my buttons were undone. It looks like I was like, ‘Oh, you thought this was going to be about you?’”
The Red Sparrow actress added, “A couple people wanted to go down and walk on the beach and I was like, ‘No. I don’t get the beach. I just don’t care.”
As previously reported, the Inside Amy Schumer star and the chef rented a house in Malibu that overlooked the ocean for their nuptials. “It was a very chill wedding. It was thrown together last minute,” a source told Us. “Most of the guests found out the wedding was happening on Tuesday from a text message sent out by Amy on Sunday. It was like, ‘Hey, this is happening. If you can make it, great. If not, no worries.’ People were in and out all night. It was a gorgeous day. Everyone was having a good time.”
