You Can Get High From Snorting Chocolate Powder Now! (But You Really Shouldn’t!)

Being a chocoholic may soon be a much more serious affliction…

Because now you can skip that lame old mouth and just snort the chocolate right up your nose into your bloodstream!

The company Legal Lean has taken the European club trend of snorting cocoa powder and pushed it further with Coco Loko. The chocolate powder designed specifically for snorting is made of cacao, along with ginkgo boloba, taurine, and guarana — ingredients found in Red Bull and Monster energy drinks.

The entire thing is designed to give you a major endorphin rush, making you energized and productive for about a half hour. And while it doesn’t say “y’know, like cocaine” in the sales pitch, it is at least halfway there with the name.

We should mention, Coco Loko has NOT been approved by the Food & Drug Administration — possibly because they’re too confused which wing to send it to!

But for real, the side effects of those ingredients, which have been known to cause heart palpitations in liquid form, could cause even more problems.

Dr. Andrew Lane from the Johns Hopkins Sinus Center told the Denver Post:

“First, it’s not clear how much of each ingredient would be absorbed into the nasal mucus membranes. And, well, putting solid material into your nose — you could imagine it getting stuck in there, or the chocolate mixing with your mucus to create a paste that could block your sinuses.”

You may remember Jonah Hill got deathly ill on the set of The Wolf Of Wall Street just from snorting FAKE cocaine. Something to keep in mind before you put ANYTHING up your nose.

Would YOU ever snort chocolate??
